Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oil vegetable or canola
  • 3.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut unsweetened will work also

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit

  2. In medium sized mixing bowl using hand mixer or stand mixer, cream together white sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Add oil & egg, continuing to mix until fully combined.

  3. Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time until fully mixed.

  4. Fold in 3 types of chocolate chips, coconut, and walnuts. Mix lightly, just until combined. 

  5. Spoon 1.5 teaspoonful amounts of dough onto greased baking sheet 2 inches apart.

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown and cooked through. Enjoy!

We used 3 types of chocolate chips (chocolate, butterscotch & white chocolate), coconut and walnuts in ours, but here's some ideas for other ingredients:
