Ingredients
1lbdry spaghetti
1lbground beef
1tbsolive oil
3/4cuponion(finely chopped)
4garlic cloves(chopped)
14 ozpetite diced tomatoes
2tbsptomato paste
14 oztomato sauce
1cupwater
2tbspItalian seasoning
1tspsalt
1/2tspcracked black pepper
Instructions
In a pot on medium heat, add olive oil. Add ground beef, and sauté until lightly golden brown. Add onions, salt, pepper Italian seasoning, and garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
Reduce heat to low. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and water. Simmer on low for 10 minutes.
While spaghetti sauce is simmering, cook pasta according to package instructions. When fully cooked, remove fro heat and strain pasta in a colander.
Combine pasta and spaghetti sauce, tossing until fully combined. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
