Heat a medium sized pan with a lid and 1 tbsp olive oil on medium heat. Add patties to pan, and sear on both sides until a golden crust has formed. Having lid ready, add 2 tbsp water, and immediately place lid on pan. More Cooking Methods
Pan Cook:This yields the most traditional sausage result. Add about 1 tbsp of olive oil to a pan (make sure it is a pan with a lid) and sear both sides of the sausage on medium heat. This next part is a trick I use for any ground meat patty and it works so great! When the patties are seared, add 2-3 tbsp of water to your pan, and immediately add the lid to the pan (be cautious of splatter). This steams the turkey patties to cooked perfection, and keeps them moist!
Air Fry: You can air fry sausage patties. Air fry them at 400 degrees for about 7-8 minutes, or until they reach 165 degrees internally. I recommend spraying them with nonstick spray (or even better, spray olive oil) to develop a crust.
Ground Sausage: Add the meat mixture to a pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil, and sauté, breaking the meat apart (like you would a taco meat) until fully cooked. You can use the ground sausage in omelettes, breakfast potatoes, etc!
