These Air Fryer Chicken Tenderloins taste like something out of your favorite pub! Crispy, delicious, and healthier since they’re cooked in an air fryer with minimal oil. We add a little parmesan cheese to add to the flavor, along with a simple egg dredge. These babies are none to done in 30 minutes!

I am officially a modern woman of 2021- I purchased an air fryer. I got mine through Costco- just a simple 6 quart for $56 but it is changing my world. This gadget really is all it is cracked up to be. These chicken tenderloins were my first real air fryer meal- and they did not disappoint. My husband and I picked at these at our kitchen island and we ate every. last. bite. BEFORE we even sat down for dinner. They are THAT good. Enough chit chat- onto the tenderloins. Get your dredge ingredients ready and have your chicken tenders set aside.

Dredge Chicken Tenders in flour, then egg mixture, then finally, a panko crumb mixture.

  • 1- Flour
  • 2- Egg Mixture (eggs, milk & dijon mustard)
  • 3- Crust Coating (mix panko crumbs, parmesan, parsley, salt, pepper)

Add the coated chicken tenderloins to a preheated 400 degree farenheit air fryer, and coat the tops of them with spray olive oil, or avocado oil (even non stick spray would work in a pinch). The spray oil is what will make these crunchy, but not alot is needed. A light mist will do just fine.  Air fry on each side for roughly 7 minutes.

Give them a flip, spray them, and give them another 7 minute go in the air fryer.

After the 7 minutes is up (well, technically 14 total minutes of air frying cooking time), insert a meat thermometer to make sure the chicken is fully cooked. Chicken is fully cooked at 165 degrees farenheit.

Once the chicken tenders are good to go, plate them up, serve them, and you have yourself some restaurant quality snacks! We like to have these for dinner but they’re also great as a snack, or chopped up on salads.

If you need some side serving ideas, these would be delicious with:

  • The Best Strawberry Spinach Salad
  • Honey Mustard Greek Yogurt Dipping Sauce
  • Easy Cheddar Biscuits

I do not have an air fryer. Can these be baked in the oven?

You bet! 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165 degrees. If you have convection feature you can use that for extra browning.
