This Greek Yogurt Honey Dijon Dressing tastes too good to be healthy!
Do you love salads but hate ‘diet’ salad dressing? We have a game changer recipe for you!
I love salads…I do! I order them even when I don’t have too…ya know, like when you are trying to lose a few pounds. But dressing is ridiculous high in calories. You could literally have a cheeseburger for the same amount!
I’ve been tinkering with greek yogurt for some time and I use it in everything that calls for sour cream or mayo. Even tuna fish…no kidding. You gotta try it! So why not my beloved Honey Mustard Dressing? After a few tries I think I have the perfect blend!
OH! This makes a great condiment too! We love to dip our chicken or sweet potato fries or just about anything in this healthy condiment!
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST GREEK YOGURT HONEY MUSTARD SALAD DRESSING OR DIPPING SAUCE!
- Start with good thick yogurt. Our fave brand is Fage’ 0% fat, plan yogurt. This stuff is thick and creamy!
- We add a blend of yellow mustard and dijon mustard, but you can use all of either. We liked how the dijon mellowed out the twang of the yellow mustard.
- Added a bit of honey, garlic powder, apple cider vinegar, S & P. (Use white pepper if you have it to avoid little specks of black pepper in your dressing.)
- Pour it on! With only 36 calories for 2 tablespoons you pour it on your salads and double dip your chicken!
We like to store all of our sauces in this handy dandy chef squirt bottles. Equal salad dressing distribution is essential in a perfect salad! They are super inexpensive and last forever.
Make a big batch! This will keep in your refrigerator for about a week!
