I love these Celery Protein Snacks year around. They make for a great snack! Crisp, crunchy celery stuffed with cream cheese, bagel seasoning and wrapped up in arugula with lunchmeat and cheese. You’ll be shocked how delicious this tastes and how healthy it is!

Celery Sticks

The key to this recipe is using fresh, crunchy, super crisp celery sticks! Make sure you use Dandy® Celery– it’s pre washed and trimmed which makes this recipe even easier. I used their Dandy® Celery Sticks because they’re already cut into 4 inch sticks, the perfect snack size!

This post is sponsored by Dandy® Fresh Produce using their Dandy® Celery. They have some of the best tasting celery on the market, super crispy and fresh. We also love that their celery is pre-washed to save a step in the cooking process, and it’s sweeter, crispier, and less stringy than other celery! Find Dandy® celery at a grocer near you.

Ingredients for Protein Celery Snack Sticks

This is a super easy, straight forward recipe. We roll them up and cut them on a a bias to make them look a little fancy. You can definitely eat the roll as is, if you prefer!

  • Dandy® Celery Sticks
    • The best quality celery is what will make this stand out. Dandy® has the best sweet, crunchy celery! I used their 4 inch celery sticks for this recipe.
  • Cream Cheese
    • I use Greek cream cheese because it has a little more protein and a little less fat but traditional will work.
  • Bagel Seasoning
    • If you don’t have bagel seasoning, a little salt and pepper will work.
  • Provolone Cheese
    • Or any sliced cheese you prefer.
  • Ham
    • Or any lunchmeat of your choice.
  • Arugula
    • Arugula has such a nice peppery taste, it really compliments the sweet celery.

Making Celery Snacks

You can use whatever lunch meat and cheese you prefer, but I do love the combination of ham and provolone. I  suggest using the lunch meat as the outer layer though because it ‘sticks’ better than cheese does, keeping this tightly rolled while stored.

Lay down ham, then provolone. Stuff the celery with cream cheese, sprinkle bagel seasoning, and lay the celery on top of the cheese. Roll it up tightly, and cut at a bias if desired.

Serving & Storing Celery Stick Bites

I like to cut these at a bias and serve them on a platter. You can serve them on toothpicks as well for a sweet little party appetizer. These keep in the refrigerator in a lidded container for up to 3 days. But honestly- they’re so easy to make, you don’t really need to make them ahead of time.
