Chicken Poppers – poppable little bites that are perfect for a snack, lunch or even a dinner along side a salad.  Made with ground chicken, peppers,  and spices.  Paleo, Gluten Free, Whole30 snacks you will make over and over again!

Chicken Poppers

These little protein bites keep my hand out of the chip bag!  We serve them along side our Basil Aioli dipping sauce for a perfectly healthy snack!

Ingredients for Chicken Poppers

  • ground chicken or turkey
  • peppers – you pick!  We used Poblano for just a little kick.  You can use  jalapeno for more heat or bell peppers for no heat at all.
  • garlic
  • cumin

Bake, Air Fry or cook up in a skillet –

  • To Bake:  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  • Stove top:  Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat.  Add one tablespoon of olive oil, or spray with non stick spray.  Add poppers and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  • Air Fryer – cook at 400 degrees for 5 minutes or until cooked through.

How to serve chicken poppers –

  • with dip of course! We love everything dipped in some kinda goo!  Try our Basil Aioli, Greek Yogurt Mustard Dip or Homemade BBQ sauce!
  • chop them up and add them to your salad
  • wrap inside a lettuce wrap for a super healthy snack!

Mini chicken poppers also make a great meal prep!

We like to make a big batch of these at the beginning of the week.  They keep up to 4 days in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
